    The Prosper ISD Police Department is a full service, independent, Texas Police agency. We are dispatched by the Town of Prosper Police Department and work cooperatively with them to ensure a safe school environment. We also have jurisdiction in all areas of the Prosper Independent School District and work cooperatively with Frisco PD, Collin County Sheriff's Office, Denton County Sheriff's Office, McKinney PD and Celina PD.

Chief Vessels

Chief Chad Vessels has been in Law Enforcement for 16 years. He has experience as a School Resource Officer, Patrol Officer, Crime Prevention Officer. He is certified in Emergency Response, Crisis Intervention, and school Based Law Enforcement. He has also attended ALERT Training.  Chief Vessels is also a graduate of the National School Safety Leadership Academy.  He holds an "Advanced" Peace Officer certification. He is assigned to cover all of Prosper ISD.

Sergeant Gerald Smith

Sergeant Gerald Smith has been in Law Enforcement for 18 years. He holds a “Master” Peace Officer License, TCOLE Instructor certificate, TCOLE Firearms Instructor certificate, Mental Health Peace Officer certificate, Texas School based Law Enforcement Certification, and ALERRT training. Sergeant Smith will be assigned to Rogers Middle School and Baker Elementary School.

Officer Rachel Fallwell

Officer Rachel Fallwell has been in Law Enforcement for 16 years.  She holds an "Master" Peace Officer certification.  She has served as a Patrol Officer, Crime Prevention Officer, School Resource Officer, and a Crisis Intervention Officer.  She is also certified in School Based Law Enforcement. She is also a Mental Health Peace Officer. She is currently assigned to Cockrell, Folsom, Hughes, Light Farms, and Rucker.

Officer Goodman has been in Law Enforcement for 23 years. He is certified in School Based Law Enforcement and holds a "Master" Peace Officer certification. He is assigned to Reynolds Middle School and Windsong Elementary School.

Officer Patrick Turner

Officer Patrick Turner has been in Law Enforcement 9 years. He is a certified Dog Handler, Field Training Officer, and is certified in School Based Law Enforcement. He holds an Intermediate Peace Officer certification. He is also certified in School Based Law Enforcement.  He is assigned to Prosper High School and is the handler for Prosper ISD's Police Service Dog (PSD). PSD Kaz is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois and he is certified in detecting illegal contraband that inhibits our goal of providing a safe learning environment for our students and staff.

Officer Chris Reeves

Officer Christopher Reeves has been in Law Enforcement for 13 years, and currently holds an "Advanced" Peace Officer license.  He has experience as a Patrol Sergeant, as well as a School Resource Officer. He is also certified in School Based Law Enforcement. Officer Reeves will be assigned to Prosper High School.

Officer Jody Woolverton

Officer Woolverton has served PISD for 9 years as the Director of Transportation and as the Emergency Management Coordinator for 7 years. He is responsible for training all PISD Staff in regards to responding to crisis situations, ensuring compliance with the Texas School Safety Centers school safety audits, conducting drills for all PISD campuses and buildings, as well as preparing a multitude of emergency response plans within our schools and community. Officer Woolverton holds a Basic peace Officers License and is certified in School Based Law Enforcement. Officer Woolverton is also a graduate of the National School Safety Leadership Academy.

Officer Ernest McMicheal

Officer Ernest McMicheal has been in Law Enforcement since 2008. Before he started his career in law enforcement he served 8 yrs in the U.S. Army with one tour overseas and is a proud veteran. He serves PISD as an Officer and the Administrator of Security Systems. He is responsible for all of the cameras and access control systems, along with preparing a multitude of safety responses within our schools. He is also trained in School Based Law Enforcement.
