Hello Eagles Family,

I feel truly blessed to start my twelfth year fulfilling my purpose as an Administrator; I'm starting my third year at Prosper High School.  I am excited to be working with such a cohesive and collaborative community.  Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I served students with special needs as a teacher for five years as well as coached football, track, soccer, and cross country.  I look forward to all this school year has ahead and being fully integrated into the PISD mission and graduate profile for its students.  Throughout my tenure at Prosper High School and PISD, I will be dedicated to the students, the staff, and the greater community of Prosper and will value each of the relationships that I build.

My family and I built our forever home in Prosper, so I'm truly invested in our schools and community.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years, and we have a 3rd  grader attending Folsom Elementary and 6th grader attending Rogers Middle.

My responsibilities at Prosper High School include serving students with alpha last name “A-B” as well as working directly with the Math. My greatest passion and goal this year is partnering with students, parents, staff, and community leaders alike to ensure that we continue to embody the “We are Prosper, We are One” attitude.

Welcome to Prosper High School!

The 2019-2020 school year is my seventh year in Prosper ISD and my 17th year in education.

I graduated from Southern Methodist University (Go, Ponies!) with a concentration in English and Education.  I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and recently finished my Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Over the course of my educational career, I have taught middle and high school English, worked in curriculum and in national school improvement and school turnaround efforts, and coached middle and high school drill team. During my time in Prosper ISD and prior to becoming an Assistant Principal at PHS, I served as a 7th grade English teacher, the PHS Dean of Instruction, and the Secondary English Curriculum Designer. I also had the privilege of starting the Reynolds Middle School Eagle Darlings and directing the Prosper Talonettes!

In my free time (which I have more of now that I am finished with graduate school!), I enjoy talking with my twin sister, reading, and spending time with my kids who are also Prosper students.

My responsibilities at Prosper High School include serving students with last names LIM-ML and overseeing the English department. I am thrilled to be back on the PHS campus, and I look forward to working with our students, teachers, and families throughout the year!
