Mrs. Denise Jessen

Welcome to Stuber Elementary!  This will be my 15th year in Prosper ISD.  I am excited and blessed to work with every one of you as part of my school family this year. My passion is helping students become proficient, life-long readers.  My degree is from Baylor University with a B.B.A. and from Texas Women's University with a Post Baccalaureate degree in Education with a specialization in Reading. In 2018, I completed my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in dyslexia at Midwestern State University. I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist and licensed in the state of Texas. I trained at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. PISD uses Take Flight for the curriculum.

My husband and I have been married for 24 years and we have 3 boys who love to play sports. Our oldest son is a sophmore at Collin College.  Our 11th grader attends Rock Hill High School and our 9th grader attends Prosper High School this year. All three boys love to play basketball.  We have 2 sweet rescue dogs named Toby and Joey.  Our family stays busy going to basketball games, but our favorite thing to do is snow ski in CO in March.  I look forward to partnering with you and your child this year!
