Reynolds Guidance & Counseling
Meet the Reynolds Counselors
Hello Reynolds Eagles! I am so excited to be the 7th grade counselor for my third year here at Reynolds and in Prosper ISD. I am starting my 14th year as a School Counselor. I grew up in Carrollton, TX and attended the University of Oklahoma on a track & field scholarship. Go Sooners!! I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Masters in School Counseling from The University of Oklahoma. I am married to my wonderful husband who is a former professional athlete and 3 time Olympian in the sport of track and field. He is now a Physical Education teacher/coach. We have 3 amazing children who all attend McKinney ISD schools. Kody-15, Kavion-11, and Ke’Lani-8. We have an adorable dog named Pepper. In my spare time you can find me on the track, football field, volunteering or at my kids’ schools supporting all their endeavors. We are an athletic family and sports enthusiast. We love cheering on our Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. I am here to support all students academically, socially, and emotionally at Reynolds and await the opportunity to meet you!
Welcome, Eagles! I am excited to begin my seventh year at Reynolds and twelfth year in education. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University (Sic 'Em Bears!) and Masters in School Counseling from Amberton University. I taught 7th grade English for 9 years and will be in my third year of counseling. I am passionate about building relationships with our students at Reynolds and helping them feel successful not only with their academics but in social and emotional situations too.
I was born and raised in southern California and will take any opportunity to visit a beach or mountain! I love to travel and explore new cultures whenever I have the chance. So far in 2019, I have traveled to four new countries and have one more to go before this year comes to an end! When I'm not out enjoying new adventures, you can find me with my miniture-dauchshund, Paisley.
Hi Eagles! I am so excited to be a part of the Reynolds team this year! This will be my first year in Prosper ISD but will be in my nineteenth year in education. I have served in several different capacities over the years as a math teacher, technology teacher, coach and as a school counselor. When I am not serving others at work, I am serving my family at home. I am married and have three wonderful children. My daughter, Miranda, is about to start her senior year at SMU. (#PonyUP!) My son, Chris, is about to begin his freshman year at Lone Star HS in Frisco. My youngest son, Nico, is starting his 6th grade year at Trent MS. My method for personal happiness is based in serving others. I believe being “others focused” is the path to finding fulfillment and joy in one’s days. I will bring this philosophy to Reynolds as I work to serve your children and you in the best possible way. I am excited about this new adventure and looking forward to working with you all!
