    • Overdue/Lost Books

      Students with any overdue book(s) will not be allowed to borrow from the library until the overdue item(s) has/have been returned or paid for if lost.  The cost of a lost book is the purchase price of the book - see the library assistant, Stacy Patrick for this price. Overdue notices will be sent via email to the email address on file.  
       

      Lost Book Refunds

      In the event that a student has paid for a lost book, then finds the book at a later date, a refund may only be issued up to two weeks after the date of payment.  After two weeks the money has been deposited and the library will utilize those funds to purchase a replacement copy of the lost book.  At this point, the student may choose to return the book as a donation to the library or keep the book as they have already paid for it.

       

      Overdue Fines
      Prosper ISD Libraries do not charge fines for overdue books.
