At Sam Johnson Elementary, we have a wonderful namesake who has inspired us to meet our daily successes and challenges with optimism and pride.  We believe in providing students and staff with an optimal environment, proper tools, and research-based strategies to access education. Students and staff work together, creating opportunities to interact with each other, have meaningful learning experiences, and enjoy the time spent learning. We know that all students have unique abilities and challenges. We strive to meet those challenges by recognizing strengths and using them to become better each day. At Sam Johnson Elementary we are Scholarly, Accomplished and Motivated.

My vision for this year starts with building meaningful relationships with our students, educators, and families. When we truly know our learners as individuals, they are seen, heard, and valued. Johnson All-Stars deserve a learning experience that invites curiosity, wonder, and engagement, while also providing a safe and nurturing environment. As we collaborate and partner together this year, Johnson’s focus remains on creating a positive and collaborative place where all students thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
