Principles of Applied Engineering

  • Welcome to Principles of  Applied  Engineering this is a yearlong, class that offers the student a fun time learning engineering as well as one full elective credit. It is taught at the ninth and tenth grade level (secondary)but  there are some 11th and 12 graders who jump in to see what it's all about. The activities, daily work, and learning is project/product-based. This gives students a more real world understanding of engineering, and its influence on today’s world.  WE also talk a lot about the future and where you are now, and what you need to think about. Some of the work will call for modeling of the student's ideas on paper as well as in small scaled prototypes and presentations. Students will  discuss topics like ethnics, being a digital citizenship, profession communications, Economic planning and educational planning. Thanks for coming to Prosper's STEM (STEAM/CTE) program .
