US Supreme Court
  • Court Systems and Practices is an overview of the federal and state court systems. The course identifies the roles of judicial officers and the trial processes from pretrial to sentencing and examines the types and rules of evidence. Emphasis is placed on constitutional laws for criminal procedures such as search and seizure, stop and frisk, and interrogation.

     

    A majority of our class information can be found on Google Classroom. Be sure and use your school-assigned Google login to access this information. Assignments will be posted, submitted and feedback provided through Google Classroom

    Log in using student's info:
    Any parent may access the assignments and discussion that takes place in Google Classroom. To view your student’s Google Classroom pages, please go to https://classroom.google.com/ and login using your student’s username and password. Your student’s login credentials are his or her PISD email address, and his or her normal password. It will be something like:

    You must enter the entire email address – not just the username part. If you are unsure of your student’s username, your student can tell you. If you are unable to access your student’s account for any reason, please email jewatkins@prosper-isd.net.
