Patrick O'Neil, Director of Instructional Media

I work with and support all of our district's librarians and instructional technology coaches. I was an instructional technology coach myself for four years before moving into my current role; before that I was a theatre teacher for 14 years, and that was where my love of instructional technology and school libraries began.

I'm a member of the Texas Computer Educators Association (TCEA,) the Texas Library Association (TLA,) and the Texas Association of School Library Administrators (TASLA).

It is our goal to continue to develop and meaningfully integrate innovative instructional resources and services that prepare Prosper ISD’s students for a future that they will help to create.

  • Dr. Leah Mann, Director of Library Services

Hello, Prosper ISD! I am thrilled to join the Prosper family this year as your new Director of Library Services. I look forward to serving the families and community of the district through our incredible campus libraries!

This is my 19th year in education, and my 13th in school libraries. I have been an elementary classroom teacher as well as an elementary and middle school librarian. Most recently I worked for 4 years in central administration as a library instructional specialist. I have taught in Texas, Alabama, and Nebraska. I have a BA from UT San Antonio, a MS from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. My certificates include EC-12 Principal, EC-12 Librarian, 1-8 Self-Contained all subjects, 1-8 Spanish, and ESL Supplemental. Currently I am Co-Chair of the Texas Library Association's 2020 Programming Committee.

My husband Scott and I have been married 22 years and are native Californians. We are a proud Air Force family, as Scott is currently serving in the Air Force Reserve. We have two rescue dogs named Chico and Zeppo who keep us on our toes. In our spare time we like to travel, collect and listen to vinyl, and spend time with friends and family. Of course, I love to read as well!
