I am thrilled to be an 8th grade ELAR teacher here at Reynolds Middle School.  This is such an exciting time in my students lives, and I can't wait to be an integral part in their completion of middle school!

For the last eleven years I have lived in Texas with my husband and two sons.  Am I a full-fledged Texan yet?? I certainly hope so! We have lived in Prosper for three years, and have competely fallen in love with the community that we've found here.  I'm a proud Prosper Mom to an 12-year-old (who is a seventh grader at Reynolds) and a 16-year-old (who will be a junior at Prosper High School). As a family, we love to travel, cook, play Mario Kart, watch movies, and take our Chihuahua, Spike, on long walks by the lake. 

I became an English teacher because I believe that words are powerful and can change the world! Really. They can. I can't wait to welcome my students into my classroom where we will have a year brimmed with discussion, creation, analysis, critical thinking, collaboration, and FUN!
