What is Classroom Guidance? 

Classroom guidance is generally a 30-45 minute block where the school counselor comes in to share a character building lesson. Lessons often include a story/video, a hands-on game/activity, and a discussion.

School counselors visit each classroom once every 6 weeks. Curriculum follows the ASCA [American School Counselor Association] standards.
