Mr. Spradley, affectionately known as “Hop”, was born in Prosper in 1944 and watched Prosper grow from a small country town of less than 350 people to a thriving community as we see it today. As a graduate of Prosper High School, he went on to complete his formal education at North Texas State University with a degree in Education. Mr. Spradley served on the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees for 15 years, is Co-Founder of the Prosper Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Lee Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, and has served as the Postmaster for Prosper, Texas since 1978 (almost 40 years).
