Scott Imes
Coach Imes is entering his first year as the Head Coach at PHS. He has 20+ years of coaching at both the collegiate and high school levels. Coach Imes has coached in both Texas and Indiana, where he is originally from. He is a graduate of Indiana University and comes to Prosper with previous coaching stints at Texas Tech University, Bloomington North High School, Amarillo Palo Duro High School, Garland Naaman Forest High School, Frisco Centennial High School, The University of Texas Arlington, McKinney High School, and most recently at Frisco Heritage High School.
Coach Imes is extremely excited about leading the PHS men's program and looking forward to watching his players develop to compete at an extremely high level.
Coach Imes is married to Sara and they have two little girls, Ava and Isabella.

Matthew Alford
Coach Alford is entering my 8th year of teaching and coaching and his first year in Prosper ISD. Before coming to Prosper ISD, Coach Alford has coached and taught at the following schools: Evans Middle School (Lubbock, TX 2016-2018), Parkland High School (El Paso, TX 2018-2020), Monterey High School (Lubbock, TX 2020-2021) & Plano West (Plano, TX 2021-2023). His favorite thing about coaching is meeting athletes where they are, not just as a player but personally. He enjoys assisting them with their endeavors and seeing their growth as they move forward with their lives. It is more than basketball for him.
Outside of basketball, he gets to go home to his lovely wife, Delaney, and his son, Cassius. Delaney and Coach Alford met at Lubbock Christian University where they both played basketball. This summer they had the pleasure of welcoming Cassius to the world. They spend most of their time with friends and family, eating good food and watching whatever big games might be taking place.

Ryan Lamberson
This is Coach Lamberson’s 20th year coaching and his first at Prosper High School. Coach Lamberson has coached football and basketball at each school he has been at. Coach Lamberson loves building relationships with athletes. Coach Lamberson comes from Trent Middle School in Frisco with previous stops at Plano Shepton HS, Carrollton RL Turner HS, McKinney North HS and Trimble Tech HS in Fort Worth. He will be coaching Freshman linebackers & basketball and teaching Earth and Space Science. Coach Lamberson is a graduate of Kansas State University. He is married to his amazing wife, Kara and has an awesome daughter, Avery. In his time away from school, Coach Lamberson likes to barbecue and he also likes to play old school video games.

Gabe Owens
Coach Owens is entering his 2nd year at Prosper High School. He helps coach the Freshmen and JV Teams along with serving as an Assistant Coach on the Varsity Team. Coach Owens teaches Honors Geometry & Algebraic Reasoning and also serves as the Club Sponsor of the Ping Pong Club!
Coach Owens served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach during the 2022-2023 season here at Prosper High School. Coach Owens played at Woodlawn High School in Illinois and had a record of 111-19 in his 4 years, including a State Championship, 3rd Place finish, and Elite 8 run. During his freshman year at Woodlawn, he won the Illinois High School 3-point competition. He holds the school record for career free throw percentage (88%) and 3-point field goals in a Game (10). Coach Owens played college basketball at Washington University in St. Louis where he was a member of 2 Conference Championship teams.
He is thrilled to be at PHS and looks forward to the future success of this program!
