Mrs. Denise Jessen

Welcome to Stuber Elementary!  This will be my 14th year in Prosper ISD.  I am excited and blessed to work with every one of you as part of my school family this year. My passion is helping students become proficient, life-long readers.  My degree is from Baylor University with a B.B.A. and from Texas Women's University with a Post Baccalaureate degree in Education with a specialization in Reading. In 2018, I completed my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in dyslexia at Midwestern State University. I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist and licensed in the state of Texas. I trained at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. PISD uses Take Flight for the curriculum.

My husband and I have been married for 23 years and we have 3 boys who love to play sports. Our oldest son is a freshman in college.  Our 10th grader attends Prosper High School and our 8th grader attends Reynolds Middle School this year. All three boys love to play basketball.  We have 2 sweet dogs named Toby and Joey.  Our family stays busy going to practices and basketball games, but our favorite thing to do is snow ski in CO in March.  I look forward to partnering with you and your child this year!
