What are the qualifications to apply for membership?

*Completed Algebra 1 and Geometry

*Be enrolled in Algebra 2 or higher

*Have a 3.0 GPA in math classes

What is required of me if I am chosen and decide to join Mu Alpha Theta?

*Pay the $10 National Organization membership fee and $15 T-shirt fee ($25 total)

*Attend monthly meetings (Second Fridays of the month during Eagle Time)

*Serve as a math peer tutor for a half hour per week (during Eagle time OR before/after school)

*Maintain a 3.0 GPA in math

*Participate in any Mu Alpha Theta sponsored activities as determined by you and the other members

What are the benefits of joining Mu Alpha Theta?

*Eligible for awards, scholarships and grants from the National Organization
