Prosper ISD will be accepting applications for new substitute teachers for the 2022-2023 school year starting June 25th.

- $150/day - Registered Nurse
- $120/day - Certified (Texas or any other state)
- $100/day - Bachelor's Degree or higher
- $90/day - High School Diploma or equivalent (effective February 1, 2022 / ending on May 25, 2022)
Half day assignments will be paid half of the above rates.
Substitutes who work 10 full days during each pay period (each month) will earn a $100 stipend for that month. This is not applicable to long-term substitutes or ESSER substitutes. (Effective February 1, 2022)
Prosper ISD requires a valid teaching certification for all Professional long term assignments. After the 10th consecutive day for the same employee, the daily certified rate will increase to $140/day. Paraprofessional long-term assignments are not subject to a rate increase.
Payment is made through direct deposit on the 25th of every month, unless it falls on a weekend or holiday. If so, it will be paid the Friday before the weekend. Pay is received the month following your assignment. For example, if you work substitute assignments in September, you will receive payment for those assignments the following month in October.

Professional Development (2021-2022 School Year)
The district will offer a four-session series of 1-hour professional development for substitutes interested in learning more. A calendar of learning opportunities will be posted on this page soon. Substitutes who attend all four sessions will earn a one-time stipend of $100. These courses also count towards Continuous Education Units for re-certification purposes in the state of Texas.
Beginning with the February 15th substitute orientation, substitutes can be reimbursed for their fingerprinting fee after working five full days. Substitutes must present their receipt.
