Mrs. Lori Cloud
My name is Lori Cloud and I have a total of 18 years of teaching experience. Over the years I have worked with students in grades 1-12. I've taught elementary, middle, and high school resource classes and prior to moving to Prosper, I taught 5th grade ELAR. This will be my fifth year to work at PHS. I have worked as an Inclusion aide and for two years I ran the Learning Lab as well as helped with GradPoint students. Last year I worked with the Counselors helping with their 504 paperwork. This year I will help the assistant principals with the 504 meetings as well as working with Mrs. Lafon in the Testing Center.
I graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School (volleyball All-State, All-District, East All-Star) and from Lamar University in Beaumont where I played volleyball on a scholarship. I have a Bachelor of Science degree where I majored in Physical Education and minored in Special Education.
My family and I moved to Prosper from Marble Falls, TX in August 2013. I am married to a retired San Antonio Policeman and we have two children. Our daughter, Leah, graduated from PHS in 2014 and graduated from Collin College in McKinney in 2018. Our son, Jeremy, is a 2019 senior at PHS and plays a trumpet in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. I also have a 30 & 28 year old sons that live and work in Georgia.
I am looking forward to this being a fantastic year! Go Eagles!
