    • All camps will be held at Prosper High School athletic facilities
    • All PISD coaches are certified in First Aid and CPR with AED and have maintained annual concussion training.

    Prosper ISD GT Department is excited to announce this summer's Camp Pursuit. Camp Pursuit promises to feature our STEAM-iest, most creative, and most inspiring courses yet. And as a valued NuMinds partner, we're delighted to offer Gifted Minds Prosper members $25 off admission. All families can enjoy an additional $25 early bird discount when they enroll by Friday, March 1st at 11:30 p.m.

    Knowledge is power, Math Knowledge is even more powerful!! If your child has a passion for learning, a passion for math, a pursuit for excellence, constantly seeks new challenges, and has an unyielding work ethic...then we would love for them to join our ranks.

    The UIL Math Summer Camp offers your child exposure, experience, and practice to all three UIL Math events: Number Sense, Calculator Applications, & Mathematics. Students (new & experienced) will be exposed to deeper levels of content mastery, math understanding exceeding regular in-school math curriculums, specific training strategies for each math event, and exposure to programming with a TI-Nspire CX CAS calculator.

    Time: 1-4 PM (High School)
              9 AM - 12 PM (Middle School)

    Cost: $150 per student

    PHS Speech and Debate Camp
    (Grades: Incoming 6th-9th)
    June 10th

    Parents, do you see these characteristics in your child? Strong Academics, Articulate, Competitive, Dramatic, Informative, Leadership, Persuasive, Self-Motivated, Well-reasoned

    If so, they might have what it takes for speech and debate! Under the guidance of the Prosper High School speech & debate coach and varsity debaters, students who attend the Prosper Speech & Debate Camp will focus on one of two forms of debate which will be taught.

    Students will also learn about other forms of Speech & Debate competition including congressional debate, extemporaneous speaking, oral interpretation, and policy debate.

    Summer 2019 Camp Details:
    Location: Prosper High School
    Dates & Times: June 10 - 12, 2019 (8 am to 4 pm)
    Drinks and snacks will be provided, but students should plan to bring a brown-bag lunch
    Cost:
    $125 (includes all supplies & t-shirt, if registered by May 15)

    Camp Invention

    Camp Invention® is returning to Prosper Independent School District! In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF), Prosper ISD GT Department is pleased to offer the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention® program to ALL children entering first through sixth grade. It’s an exciting, weeklong summer adventure with lessons that explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Children work together to create solutions to real-world problems and build critical 21st-century skills while rotating through several high-energy, hands-on modules. The week begins on June 17, 2019, with Natalie Stevens serving as Director of the ALL-NEW 2019 program, Supercharged!

    PHS Engineering Summer Lego & Engineering Camp
    PHS Engineering Summer Lego & Engineering Camp
    (Grades: 4th-7th)
    July 15-19 and July 22-26

    The camps will be held July 15-19 and July 22-26 (each week/camp does the same activities). This camp is best suited for children going into 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grades. Camp days will run from 8am to 4pm. (bring your own lunch) Each day will have a different LEGO build/challenge as well as an engineering build challenge. Cost per camper is $295.00 for the 5 day week. Each student will get a box of LEGOs to take home at the end of the week.
