Mrs. Michelle M. Wall
Hi! My name is Michelle Wall. I am so excited to be a part of Prosper ISD, and especially thrilled to be teaching here at Sam Johnson Elementary. I have been teaching for 24 years, with 20 of those years being early elementary special education.
I grew up in Los Alamitos, CA. I received my Bachelor of Science in History from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where I also played on the women's soccer team for four years. I received my Master of Science degree in Special Education from National University, along with multiple California credentials with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). I now have my TX special education certifications (EC-12). I moved to Texas in July of 2016 from Huntington Beach, CA - Surf City USA! Believe it or not, we did not move with Toyota! We chose to move to Prosper to be closer to family, and because of all the great things we had heard about Prosper.
I am married and have two children - 16 and 13 - that attend Prosper High School and Reynold's Middle School within the Prosper ISD. My daughter plays soccer for Prosper High School and club soocer for FC Dallas, and my son is a competitive inline and ice hockey player and plays for the Prosper High School JV team. He has been lucky enough to represent both CA (2016) and TX (2017- 2020) at the State Wars National Inline Hockey Championships the past five years. Our entire family loves playing and watching all sports, as well as traveling to different hockey arenas around the US and Canada to watch games. Besides soccer, I also practice yoga, run, swim, and cycle.
I'm looking forward to a great year here at Johnson, and I am honored to be able to teach your precious child.
