Mrs. Cate Gale

Welcome to 6th Grade ELAR!

I am so excited to begin my third year at Reynolds Middle School.

This will be my seventh year of teaching; my fourth year of sixth grade, and I have taught 7th grade ELAR, History, and 1st grade previously.

My husband and I have been married for six years, and we moved from Montana to Canada to Texas four years ago after my husband suffered a career-ending knee injury during his stint in professional football with the Ottawa Redblacks.

We don't have any children yet, but we do have two fur babies! A seven-year-old, mini-Australian shepherd, Oakley, and a one-year-old Aussie-mix, Ellie.

We love being active together; going to the gym, playing sports of all kinds, and hiking with our dogs.

We both attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, where we participated in collegiate athletics. GO CATS!

My husband played defensive-line for the Bobcats, and I ran sprints, hurdles, and relays in track and was also the captain of the dance and pom team.

Before transferring to MSU, I played Division II basketball at Montana Tech.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education K-8, with a Leadership Fellows Certificate in Adolescent Athletics and Nutrition, as well as certifications in ESL and Gifted and Talented Education.

I also hold a certificate in Advanced Sports Nutrition with an emphasis in meal appropriation and dietary planning.

I am an avid reader, life-long learner, and I enjoy sharing my passion for reading with my students.

I look forward to spending time with your student, learning and growing with them this year!
