Mrs. Merideth Hamilton

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!  This year marks my 12th year teaching at Prosper High School and my 19th year in education. I have had the opportunity to teach 7th grade math through Pre-Calculus. My husband and I have lived here in Prosper for the last thirteen years with our two children.  This is a great place to be.  I am looking forward to a fun, exciting, and successful year!

This year will be very different from traditional years and will require a mindset change.  There will be many topics we learn that are meaningful and important (for things like SAT/ACT, college level math, AP Calculus, future jobs, etc) but may never be assessed. We will change our view from “I need to get this right for a good grade” to “I need to learn this for my own personal growth and development as a student and a person.”  As teachers, we are looking forward to this journey with you and are here to help in any way we can.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!
