Mrs. Nicole Derby-Moore

Welcome, Reynolds Eagles!! My name is Mrs. Derby-Moore and I am back with the Reynolds team to teach Health for the 2020-2021 School Year. I am starting my 16th year of teaching and my fifth here in Prosper ISD.  I grew up in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia which is where I spent the first eleven years of my teaching career.

Outside of teaching I love being a mom and wife. I am the mother of two amazing boys! My son, Colin, has enlisted in the United States Navy and will be entering Bootcamp as we head back to school this year. Riley, my six-year-old, keeps me on my toes and is likely to one day have a booming career in comedy, music, or sports. He is firstie at Furr this year. Both of my boys are pretty amazing and I am so blessed to be their mom.  My husband, Mark, is retired from the United States Navy and is working here in the DFW area as an electromechanical engineer.

I am very excited to continue writing my story here at Reynolds. It is my goal to support our Eagles on their "Reach for Excellence" this year with fun educational activities that help students establish goals of wellness for a lifetime.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit."  -Aristotle
