"Learning is finding out what we already know.

Doing is demonstrating that you know it.

Teaching is reminding others that they know just as well as you.

You are all learners, doers, and teachers." --Richard Bach

Welcome to the profession of education! I teach and coordinate the Ready-Set-Teach program and Human Growth and Development. Not only do I have the privilege of exploring what being a teacher is all about with my high school students, but I also get to observe and support my students in classrooms throughout PISD.

I earned a bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Education from Texas Womans University. In addition to to teaching, I also sponsor Prosper Teach which combines three organizations: The Texas Association of Future Educators Club, Educators Rising and the Association of Curriculum and Supervision. I am looking forward to another fantastic year of learning and growing with my students and Prosper family.
