Ms. Ronna Hornsby
My name is Ronna Hornsby and I am one of the Resource/Inclusion Teachers here at Baker Elementary. I graduated from the University of Central OK with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1994. I hold certificates to teach in OK and TX. I am starting my 25th year in Special Education. During my career, I worked for a Special Education Co-op in OK for 3 years as a Speech Therapist, Sherman ISD for 4 years as a Speech Therapist Assistant, Plano ISD for 2 years as a Resource/Inclusion Teacher, McKinney ISD for 12 years as the District Assistive Technology Coordinator, Resource/Inclusion Teacher and Transition Teacher serving the 18-21 year old population, and Deer Creek Schools, in Edmond, OK for 1 year as a Life Skills Teacher.
I have 2 wonderful boys, Landry will be attending Prosper High this year and Ryder is a 7th grader at Rogers Middle School and 2 dogs, Lovey and Milo. I'm a huge sports fanatic and love my Sooners, Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder, TX Rangers, STL Cardinals and watching my boys play baseball.
