Welcome to Chemistry!
My name is Deshaun Dotson and I'm excited to be working with you this year! I graduated from Baylor University and currently reside with my husband and 3 girls in McKinney, TX. I teach Pre-AP and AP Chemistry here at Prosper High School, and I look forward to great "aha" moments and fun relevant labs during this school year.
I have taught IPC, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and I absolutely love my job! I am very excited about my 8th year here in Prosper (this is my 17th year teaching overall)!
When we begin a unit, the unit folder with supporting information will be available for viewing using the link provided below named "File Library". This will serve to help students who might need additional assistance, provide extra practices or notes, serve as a tutorial discussion item (unless I have not taught it yet), or even help a student get a little ahead of what will be covered. The next unit folder will not appear until the unit test for that current folder has been taken. Within days of test completion, then that next unit folder will appear.
NOTE: THIS INFORMATION MAY ONLY BE ACCESSED USING THE SCHOOL PROVIDED GOOGLE ACCOUNT!!!
