Mrs. Reva Soyemi

I am excited to be back for my eighth year at Prosper High School!  I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with degrees in Sociology (Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts).  Because I enjoyed math, I went back to school and graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education.  I have been teaching for 15+ years in education.  My husband and I have been married for 17 years and we have one seven-year-old daughter.

This is my seventh year teaching AP Statistics, my fourth year teaching Statistics and my first year teaching College Prep Math at Prosper High School.  In addition, I have been the co-sponsor of Mu Alpha Theta, the National Math Honor Society, for four years.  I am currently a member of PISD's first AP Guiding Council and the district's Agents of EdTech (group of teachers who enhance their classrooms with technology-integration).  Throughout my career, I taught all high school math classes and levels (except for Calculus, AP Calculus and AQR).  Within all the current classes, we will have a year full of math labs, interactive activities, technology, and inquiry.  I look forward to showing you what math has to offer for your life!  For further details about your class, please visit the class page.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via e-mail at rysoyemi@prosper-isd.net or phone, 469-219-2180 extension 80440.
