Mrs. Reva Soyemi

I am excited to be back for my tenth year in Prosper ISD (9 years at Prosper High School) and my first year at Rock Hill High School!  I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with degrees in Sociology (Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts).  Because I enjoyed math, I went back to school and graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education.  I have been teaching for 15+ years in education in various environments- rural, urban, suburban, domestic and international.  My husband and I have been married for 19 years and we have one daughter who is in the third grade.

I am teaching Honors Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 2, Geometry, and Statistics at Rock Hill High School.  Throughout my career, I taught all high school math classes and levels (except for Algebraic Reasoning, Calculus and AP Calculus).  In addition, I have been the co-sponsor of Mu Alpha Theta, the National Math Honor Society, for six years.  I am currently a third-year member of PISD's Agents of EdTech (group of teachers who enhance their classrooms with technology-integration).  I also travel internationally with students on EF (Education First) STEM tours- our next excursion is the July 2021 Health Sciences in Great Britain tour.    Within all my current classes, we will have a year full of math labs, interactive activities, technology, and inquiry.  I look forward to showing you what math has to offer for your life!  For further details about your class, please visit this class page.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via e-mail at or phone 469-219-2300 x81480.
