Greetings Hughes 4th graders! Our ELAR & Texas History classroom is designed to encourage you to grow as an independent and thoughtful reader, as well as, become an individual who writes with knowledge and heart.
We are your cheerleaders, educators, coaches, mentors, and your biggest fans inside and outside the classroom! Please make sure to always ask for help when needed, and to always come to class with an open mind and a great attitude. We will work together as a team, because dreams don't work unless you do. Let's make your dreams come true!
Facts about Mrs. Wiedmann:
~ My husband, Keith, and I have lived in the Frisco/McKinney area for ten years.
~ We have a son who is the light of our lives! His name is KW and he will be five in October. KW will be attending Hughes this year in the PPCD program, and I could not be more excited to have my son in school with me. He loves sports, cars, and reading books.
~ Our family loves animals! We have a pug (Toby), a french bulldog (Tessa), and a cat (Tux).
~ I love ALL Dallas sports teams and A&M! GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!
~ In my free time I love cooking, BBQing, reading, writing, and spending time with our amazing family and friends.
~ I have a Bachelor's of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8, my ESL certificate, and my 30 hours Gifted and Talented continuing education.
~ I started my first year teaching sixth grade, I spent four years with my fifth graders in Garland ISD.
~ This is my third year at Hughes. Hughes is where my heart is, and I am ecstatic to be your fourth grade teacher!!!!!
