Be Brave! Have Courage! Take Risks & Seek Adventure!
I am very excited to be furthering my educational adventures in Prosper ISD at Hughes Elementary!
I will be teaching Communications, one of the amazing special education programs we offer in Prosper.
Before starting my career at Hughes Elementary, I taught at the Boston College Campus School in Massachusetts. Campus School is a private setting that meets the needs of children who are severely disabled and medically fragile. At this time, I also earned my Master's degree from Boston College in Curriculum & Instruction.
My family relocated from the northeast to Texas in 2004. I then had the privilege of opening the Functional Academics program for Frisco ISD. During my tenure there I also served as an in-home/parent trainer and ESY teacher & administrator.
My husband and I reside in Carrollton with our 3 children, Andrew, Aidan, and Alexandra. When not teaching you can find me at one of the many sporting events my kids participate in, cooking, and reading. I look forward to getting to know all of you on this wonderful new adventure!
