Mrs. Natalie Joyner
Mrs. Joyner is entering her third year as the choir director at Rogers Middle School. Before teaching at Rogers, Mrs. Joyner taught private piano lessons for 17 years, and several years of early childhood music at private preschools. Mrs. Joyner is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she earned a Bahcelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Music. She then earned a Master of Arts in Music Education from Texas Woman's University.
Mrs. Joyner has a passion for music and a love for children. She believes that music is an essential part of our learning whether we are actively studying the craft, honing a talent, or simply enjoying the many facets of joy that music has to offer. Learning and participating in a music education program benefits students of all ages by developing character, confidence, discipline, and a love of learning. Music can transform something plain into something exquisite, something ordinary into something extraordinary.
Mrs. Joyner has lived in Texas for 24 years. She and her family have resided in Plano, Denton, Allen, and have now lived in Prosper for five years. She has a wonderful husband of 19 years and five amazing children. Jacob (11th grade), Sam (10th grade), Luke (8th grade), Ben (7th grade) and Annabella (4nd grade). The Joyner family loves Prosper and is so grateful to be part of such an incredible district.
