Welcome!!

My name is Courtney Leatherwood and I am a First Grade Teacher at Windsong Ranch Elementary. This will be my second year teaching in Prosper ISD and my 13th year teaching First Grade. I am thrilled to be working for such a great district and amazing school!

I am a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, TX. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters in the Art of Teaching. Go Roos!

Aside from teaching, I am passionate about spending time with my family. My husband has been a teacher for the last 12 years.  We have two children, Charlie and Lucy. Charlie will be in fourth grade and Lucy will be in second grade!! We enjoy movies, hiking, and lots of family time! The Leatherwoods are ready to be Windsong Strong!
