Mr. Bart Jacobsen

This is my second year at Reynolds Middle School and I am thrilled to be the instructor for 8th grade Principles of Applied Engineering and 6th/7th grade STEAM! I was born and raised in South Dakota and earned an Associates of Science degree in Architectural Drafting and Civil Engineering from Lake Area Technical Institute. I moved to Texas in 2005 and eventually went back to school and earned my Bachelor of Science in Math/Science Education from Texas A&M University in 2010, Whoop!! I taught Middle School Science for six years before arriving in the best school district in Texas, Prosper ISD!! I have also spent some summers in Houston working for the Texas High School Aerospace Scholars program at NASA - Johnson Space Center.

I am excited to be at Reynolds Middle School and I am looking forward to a transformational 2018-2019 school year!

Thanks and Gig'em!
