Ms. Britt Morin

Hello! I'm so excited to welcome your family to Furr Elementary's first year!

This will be my seventh year of teaching, but it all began when I graduated from Corban University in Salem, Oregon in 2011. From there, I set sail to begin my teaching career in Bangkok, Thailand. I taught an entire class of 6th grade English language learners everything from English to Health Science for two years. Having been inspired by the students that have incredibly diverse backgrounds, I took off in 2014 to acquire my Masters degree in TESOL Education at the University of Wollongong in Wollongong, NSW, Australia. After my year of learning, I returned stateside once again and found myself teaching 4th grade ELAR, Science, and Social Studies in Big Spring, TX. I made my way a little more east and have planted some roots here in Prosper, TX.

As you can gather from my educational career, I love traveling and exploring new places. I have gotten the opportunity to explore several countries like Italy, Japan, and England to name a few. My aim is to always bring a curiosity and passion for the greater world. However, when I'm not traveling I spend time as a newly wed with my husband, friends, and my feather baby, Manao the conure.

I am eager to get to know your child as well as to get our learning on! I anticipate an incredible year of growth with your fourth grader, and I am truly thankful for your participation in your child's education.

Please check out our 4th grade website to learn more about what's going on in our classrooms!
