Ms. Candace Lamberson

Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Candace Lamberson

Hello!  My name is Candace Lamberson.  This is my second year teaching at PHS.  I am an RN-BSN with 22 years experience.  My main background is critical care,  I love trauma and cardiac!  I have worked in home health and taught (and currently still teach some) in the simulation lab at Collin College for the last six years.  I went to University of Oklahoma (BOOMER!) sorry, Texas fans.  I moved to Dallas from Oklahoma 20 years ago and consider myself a true Texan now. :)    In my spare time I love to spend time with my three teenage kids and my sweet Golden Retriever Ruby.  I am excited to be here at Prosper High School and looking forward to a wonderful year!

Once my CNA students begin to go to the facilities, then those times listed where I am teaching CNA I will not be here at the High School but with my students at their prospective facilities.  My CNA student will not be using classroom since they are a dual credit class through Collin College and they use a system called Canvas.  I will be reviewing this with the students and this is where All communications, assignments, modules, quizzes etc. will be.  They will receive access to this this week and that is where their syllabus is located which I will be reviewing.  We will also be using the Remind app for communication on cell phones since they are expected to have their own transportation set up before we go to the facilities.  This will allow the students to communicate if they are running late, etc.

For my Principles of Health:  There are books provided in the classroom that you are expected to stay here.  I will be posting assignments, tests, reminders and most communication through classroom.  I will be going over this with all the students this week and will provide a link to classroom where you will find the Syllabus.

Tutoring Times: Eagle time : This is during first and 5th periods as well as after school on B days until 4:20.

This link is where you will find what the class is about, supplies etc.
