Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Kristin Litton
This coming year will be my fourteenth year in the classroom. I've taught first, second, and third grades previously and looking forward to teaching second grade again. This is such a fun age! Your child will grow so much this year. They will go from being in the young child at the beginning of the year to thinking beyond what we could possibly think they would be capable of towards the end of the year.
I am originally from Round Rock, Texas. Yep, the town is actually named after a rock, I promise. After graduating from high school, I attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Love me some Aggie football!!! After teaching for several years, I noticed I had a love of teaching reading. I decided to go and get my masters in reading and graduated in 2012 from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
My biggest love outside of the classroom are my two daughters. My oldest daughter is Avery and she is six and will be a first grader at Windsong this year. My youngest is Noel and she is three years old but thinks she is much older than three. I am also very fortunate to have most of my family near me. My parents and my brother's family all live in the metroplex so we are able to get together often.
I am looking forward to getting to spend the year with your child and see all of their amazing successes this year.
