I am proudly returning to Prosper ISD this year after just moving here last July, but this will be my 15th year teaching altogether.  I have brought with me 13 years experience teaching elementary and middle school in Mesquite.  I am married to my wonderful husband, David, and we have 3 beautiful kids (Chandler, Hannah, & Parker) who we love dearly.  My two oldest, Chandler (16) and Hannah (15), are in high school and my youngest, Parker (7) is going into second grade.  We do have 2 little fur babies at home (1 dog-Gizmo and 1 cat-MooMoo) who love to keep us on our toes!  I lived in Mesquite all of my life and graduated from Mesquite High School in 2000 with Honors.  I received my Bachelors in 2005 from the University of Texas at Arlington and was a part of UTA's Dance Ensemble.  I immediately began teaching and working towards my Masters which I received in 2007 from Texas A&M Commerce.  I enjoy reading, movies, swimming, spending time with family, cooking, and trying new things.  I truly love teaching middle school!  It is a mission of mine to instill a love for learning, reading, & writing in my students.  I always attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.
