Being a teacher is a special and amazing opportunity and having the ability to play a small part in creating special moments in their lives' and molding them into the best versions of themselves is incredible. I arrive to work every day dedicated to the process of educating students through positively impacting their lives and helping them grow physically, mentally and socially, and providing them all the tools needed for success so they can implement a healthy lifestyle. I design effective and engaging lesson plans providing students with individualized coaching to develop and improve gross, fine and locomotor skills. The PE curriculum involves teamwork, safety concepts, developing strategies, cooperative learning, conflict resolution skills, concepts and strategies behind the physical skills, improving and maintaining physical fitness to benefit overall health and wellness that creates a healthier lifestyle for students. PE allows for regular physical activity during the school day which benefits student health now and in the future in so many ways. I encourage and motivate students to find value and enjoyment in physical exercise, sports and activities that they can carry throughout their entire life. The most rewarding words I hear from my kids is when they come up to me and tell me how they are exercising at home and get actively involved with their parents and families throwing and catching a football, playing badminton, jumping rope, hitting the volleyball, etc. That is the very best compliment I can receive because it makes me so proud of each and every one of them and that means I am having an impact on them. That's all I can hope for.

I graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2007 with a B.S. Degree in Physical Education.

My number one goal is that they are more successful in life because they were involved in my Physical Education program. My goal is to positively affect 1 person by the example that you set, being somebody they can look up to and caring about somebody, then affect 2 more people the next day and 3 more and eventually everyone will effect everyone in a positive way creating a powerful and engaging learning environment.

I truly care about my student-athletes as a person and a player with the drive and determination to positively impact their life.

I was born and raised in Fridley, Minnesota and currently reside in Prosper with my 3 dogs.
