Hello, My name is Mariela Barnett,

I am excited to be part of the Reynolds Team. I moved from California 16 years ago and live in Mckinney with my husband Kevin and two kids Lennon and Eden. 

I graduated from Brooks in Long Beach with a degree in Fashion. I worked in the swimwear industry for nine years until we move to Texas. I sort of fell into teaching when my son's preschool needed a Spanish teacher. I taught Spanish at Friends in Christ for 4 years then I taught Spanish and Art at Crosspoint for 5 years. I absolutely loved teaching pre-K but I am very grateful to now be at Prosper ISD.
