Ms. Michelle Roosa

I am so excited to be joining Prosper ISD and the First Grade Team at Spradley Elementary.  This is my 23rd year of teaching.  In addition to teaching first grade, I previously taught sixth grade, fourth grade, second grade and Resource.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and later went on to receive a master’s degree from the University of North Texas.

From a very young age, I knew I would be a teacher.  As a child, playing school was my favorite pastime.  I wanted to be like my first grade teacher, Mrs. Lumpkin.  I hope to instill a love of learning in each one of my students just as my first grade teacher did for me!

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I am the proud aunt of three nieces and two nephews.  You will also find me chasing after my rambunctious dogs, Tyler and Cooper, or finding a special treasure while antique shopping.

This inaugural year at Spradley Elementary will be filled with creating new traditions, lasting friendships and wonderful memories.  Let the adventure begin!
