Brad Stevenson

Welcome!

My name is Brad Stevenson and I am excited for my second year at Prosper ISD and am glad that you are hear to learn a little bit about me.  I am originally from Denison, Tx where I graduated from high school in 2004.  From there I went to continue my education at Texas A&M Univeristy at Galveston where I received a B.S in Marine Biology.  After sometime working on comercial fishing boats I discovered a passion for teaching which I began to explore at an environmental science camp on Lake Texoma where over four years I was fortunately able to lead thousands of young learners in meaningful outdoor learning experiences.  It was this experience that cemented my desire to be a full time educator.

This will be my 8th year in a traditional education environment and I have been fortunate enough to experience many different facets during that time.  I began my classroom journey as a 5th grade science teacher for three years before moving on to the high school level to teach Physics.  While I love all aspects of science; the combination of math, problem solving and the practical application of physics in daily life makes it a joy to teach to young learners.

If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
