My name is Brad Stevenson and I am excited for my first year at Prosper ISD and am glad that you are hear to learn a little bit about me. I am originally from Denison, Tx where I graduated from high school in 2004. From there I went to continue my education at Texas A&M Univeristy at Galveston where I received a B.S in Marine Biology. After sometime working on comercial fishing boats I discovered a passion for teaching which I began to explore at an environmental science camp on Lake Texoma where over four years I was fortunately able to lead thousands of young learners in meaningful outdoor learning experiences. It was this experience that cemented my desire to be a full time educator.
This will be my 6th year in a traditional education environment and I have been fortunate enough to experience many different facets during that time. I began my classroom journey as a 5th grade science teacher for three years before moving on to the high school level where I taught as a physics teacher for the past two years. Science has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I am greatly looking forward to the opportunity to share this passion as I provide inclusion support in Physics, Chemistry, IPC and Forensic science during my first year as a PHS eagle as a special education science teacher!
