Dr. Christopher Khoury

I am extremely excited and proud to start my third year in Prosper ISD as an Educational Diagnostician. I am also thrilled to be one of the districs Lead Diags and to have been assigned to Rock Hill HS where I can help build an amazing foundation for all future Rock Hill HS students. I can't say enough amazing things about the people I get to work with everyday and the great things I see these people do for our kids and community. It is truly awesome to be a part of. This is my 16th year serving our students and communities here in North Texas, and every year gets better and better! I have two amazing girls, Catherine Abbigail (9th grade) and Audrey Emmilyn-Grace (3rd grade). I love being a father to those two girls... they are truly a blessing and I couldn't be more proud of them.

In addition to my duties at Propser ISD, I am a professor at a university, which I have done since 2005. I am currently the Senior Contributing Faculty Member for our Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Special Education Liscensure Program, and a Lead Faculty Member for our Special Education Ph.D. Program. I enjoy being able to generalize my knowledge and expertise in the K-12 public school setting to teach future Special Education Teachers (M.Ed.) and future Special Education Leaders (Ph.D.) at the graduate level. I also serve on our Associate Dean Advisory Committee, our Teacher Licensure Committee, I am a Special Education Course Content Development Specialist, and I serve as the content specialist on dissertation committees.
