7/8 Photojournalism and Yearbook

Photojournalism and yearbook classes focus less on specific core academics, but instead develop the creative skills and social interests of my students. I look forward to meeting each student enrolled in my classes and hope to make this school year an educational, fun-filled year for them.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in Commerce with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and English Language Arts and recently completed my Educational Administration Master’s Degree also from Texas A&M University in Commerce. Throughout my nineteen years teaching Middle School grades, I have added certifications for Reading, Journalism, Speech, CTE Business & Finance, and CTE Technology Education. I taught at Sulphur Springs Middle School in Sulphur Springs, Texas, for ten years and have taught at Reynolds Middle School for the past nine years.

My son, Marshall, lives in Sulphur Springs, Texas (my hometown) with his family, while my daughter, Felicia, is currently a junior at Braswell High School in Denton ISD.

When not at school, I enjoy attending sporting events where my daughter is an athletic trainer. I also pursue my love of photography, helping others, and being outside by donating my photography services to non-profit outdoor events. "Head over heels" for my Marine Bass Angler boyfriend Richard Faulkner, we spend time together fishing and hunting with our families and friends.

If you would like to contact me to discuss your child's performance or any other questions that you may have about class, feel free to schedule a conference between 9:50 to 10:35 on Monday, Tuesday or Friday. You may also e-mail or call to discuss any concerns you have about your child.

Sincerely,

Ms. Wende Holland
