Mrs. Amy Mestayer

Hi!  My name is Amy Mestayer and I am entering my 13th year as an educator.  I will be teaching 5th grade Reading  and Writing.  

 
My husband and I are from Louisiana and love spending time with our two boys, Jaxon and Graham.  A fun fact about me is I was an Adult Probation and Parole Officer right out of college.  What a career change, right?!  I absolutely loved my experience in law enforcement, but that experience just ignited my passion to work with children.  My hope is to lead students on a path to happiness and success through engagement and relationship building.
 
Needless to say, I am living my dream and cannot wait to take this journey together with students and parents.
