It is a distinct privilege to be a part of Prosper ISD and serve the Stuber family this year. I am thrilled to be starting my seventh year in the classroom setting, and tenth year in the education field. I am a graduate of University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I spent much of my undergraduate program studying childhood development and special education. While attending UMUC, I was offered an amazing experience to travel the world serving military families and their educational endeavors. I began my experience in education as a Regional Director for the university in the Asia division. This position cultivated my passion for children, culture, and language. Following these experiences, I relocated back to the great state of Texas. Upon returning, I began my journey into the classroom and have taught Reading and Writing for the past six years in several grade levels.
Along my journey as a teacher, I was exponentially blessed to meet my husband, Adam. We both are starting our first year in Prosper ISD. It is an amazing experience to share life and the love of education with Adam. We are currently expecting our first little Prosper Eagle, Addilyn Marie, in December. Our little family would simply be incomplete without our spoiled Chocolate Lab, Brody. He has been an "only child" for seven years, so the fun is just beginning!
I am a life-long learner who lives for new experiences. I love to travel and have been to over 20 countries around the world. I also enjoy the outdoors and a hot Texas summer. I firmly believe anything can be accomplished with a cup of coffee in hand. Through life's adventures, I truly believe every human has a voice and a purpose in life. It is my goal to give every child a reason to be awesome each and every day, and to know that they matter!
