Mrs. Michelle Van Schepen

I'm excited to say this is my first year at Prosper ISD, and I am looking forward to serving the students and families of this wonderful community. I am in my 17th year of teaching, and I'm a "Jack of All Trades," you can say. I studied pre-law for three years, and then decided to get a degree in Literary Studies.  After I graduated, I worked as a computer engineer and network administrator for 10 years.  Finally, I decided my true passion was to become a teacher.  I've taught Resource Reading, English, Science and Social Studies, 8th grade GT English, 8th grade Reading, 6th grade ELAR, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Resource ELAR and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Applied ELA and Reading.  Plus, I've coached cross country, track and volleyball. Yep! I've done it all!  I am looking forward to using my treasure trove of knowledge and experience to help my students achieve their own success. The 2019-2020 school year will be the best year yet!
