I am incredibly excited to be back at Light Farms Elementary School this year! I come to you with a passion for working with children and helping anybody in need. I have a background in working with children in childcare and after school care programs from school ages pre-k, primary grade levels, specialized programs and with teens for 7 years with the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA. Then substitute taught at Light Farms from 2017-2018 before joining the Light Farms Family in Pre-K, PPCD. I worked at Boyer last year as a Library Aide. While I loved helping and finding that magical/ideal genre for kiddos on a literary level. I truly believe my calling is working with kiddos in SPED on the primary level. I gain a great sense of accomplishment and fullfilment watching and aiding children meet and surpass their goals. It is truly an unbelievable feeling!
I am a mom, wife, sister, aunt, daughter and coincidently neighbor here to fellow Light Farmers! I love sharing and motivating kiddos to be at their best while maximizing their potential. I truly believe that it allows them to connect and explore new things in their minds. I am also a mom of two boys in Prosper ISD. One attends Light Farms Elementary, Henry is 9 years old in 4th Grade and the other one, Sam is 12 years old and attending Reynolds Middle School as a 7th Grader. I am a graduate from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) and continue volunteer and mentor young college women in leadership, specializing in Risk Managemet. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and should you have any questions, please send me an e-mail or give me a call. I am at your service. Welcome to the Light Farms Family! I cannot wait to meet you and work with you and your child(ren)! Let's make it an amazing year together
