Mrs. Allison Vance

Welcome to the world of videos! While writing and reading top the list of my two favorite hobbies, who doesn't love an intriguing movie or well-crafted journalism?  I am thrilled to take my background in English and roll it into the creative art of video production and broadcast journalism.  Combine that with a love for art, public speaking, and teaching, and I truly have the best job in the world.

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marriage, Family and Human Development, and I later obtained a Master's Degree in English. I recently married my sweet husband, and together we have around 50 nieces and nephews whom we love spoiling. Texas has been my home for quite awhile, and in my free time, aside from reading, I might be found ballroom dancing with my husband, creating art, or watching re-runs of "The Office."

In addition to being certified to teach Technology Applications, I hold additional certifications in English, English as a Second Language, and Gifted/Talented. My heart bursts with excitement at the ability to join a love for art with writing, storytelling, and technology.  I have happily taught middle school for eleven years and worked in the education field for twenty years.

I look forward to growing with my students this year. Prosper ISD is my home, and I consider my students and their families as an extension of my own. If there is anything I can do to assist you or your child, please let me know.  Here's to a fantastic year!
