I am excited to be starting my 16th year in education as the proud principal of Rock Hill High School which will open in the fall of 2020. It is a great honor to be able to open up the first new high school in PISD. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things our students will accomplish and the traditions that will continue to thrive at Rock Hill!
One of the many reasons I am excited about this opportunity is that I will have a chance to have my own kids walk the halls of RHHS one day. My wife, Taren, who is a second grade teacher at Boyer Elementary, and I have three kids. Camdyn is our oldest and will be a 6th grader at Rogers Middle School. Maddyn will be a second grader at Boyer Elementary and Ty will also be at Boyer as a kindergartener.
After graduating from Texas A&M University, my career in education started in Wylie ISD where I served as a teacher and was the head baseball coach for several years. After completing the educational leadership program at Dallas Baptist University, I served as an administrative intern for Wylie ISD and then as an Assistant Principal at the high school in Farmersville ISD. From there, I spent four years as a principal in Pilot Point ISD before coming to Prosper to serve as an assistant principal at PHS.
My family and I absolutely love PISD and are so thankful to be in this great district. We look forward to all the amazing years ahead in our rapidly growing community. Go Blue Hawks!
