Mrs. Lindsay Crofts

Lindsay Crofts is the Suzuki Violin teacher at Johnson Elementary School. Lindsay has been teaching in the public schools since 2009 as an orchestra director and private strings instructor. She grew up learning to play the violin, beginning at the age of 3, at the Western Springs School of Talent and Education in Illinois. She is an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and continuously participates in Suzuki book trainings and professional development. Lindsay was a co-owner and instructor at a private Suzuki studio in Austin, TX from 2013-2018 where she taught violin and viola to students ages 4+.

Lindsay is very passionate about music education and believes in Dr. Suzuki's philosophy that "Every Child Can". She teaches with energy, plans fun games, but also expects the highest of her students! She is very excited to bring the Suzuki Method to Johnson Elementary!

Lindsay lives in Dallas, TX with her husband, daughter, and dog. She loves running outside and baking yummy desserts.
