Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Amy Smitherman and I am honored to share this special year with you and your child. I am originally from West Texas. Lubbock is my hometown but I grew up in a military family and have moved often. I have a degree in Christian Education from Wheaton College in Illinois. After graduation, I taught ESL in Mexico for two years. Most recently I taught in Frisco ISD and I have also taught at schools in Arkansas and North Carolina. I am a proud mom of two great kids. My daughter Abigail is in seventh grade and my son Preston is in third grade. In my free time, I enjoy baking (I have a major sweet tooth!), doing projects at home, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.

I am thrilled to join the Stuber family this year and I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
