Mrs. Jordan Berndsen

Hello Windsong Family!!

My name is Jordan Berndsen and I am beyond excited to be a fifth grade teacher here at Windsong Ranch Elementary!! This will be my 5th year of teaching, as I absolutely adore educating the brilliant minds of young children!  I have been fortunate enough to teach at various levels, including Pre-K, first, second, and fifth grades throughout my career. My philosophy is to first build relationships with my students, and the learning will follow!

My husband, Phillip, is the assistant baseball coach at Prosper High School, where he also teaches History. We have two young children, Crue and Blakely, who keep us on our toes.  We are so excited to have our son, Crue, in Kindergarten this year at Windsong!! Crue enjoys playing baseball with his daddy and any sport/activity that involves the outdoors.  Our daughter, Blakely, just turned one and we call her, "BUSY B!"  She is running everywhere and loves to do everything her brother does.  The Berndsen family couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Prosper ISD family!!

I am so excited to meet all of you and see all of your faces (with masks), as we dive into this unusual school year. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you! We will make this year amazing, regardless of any challenges we might face with COVID-19. My job is to keep my students safe, but we will have fun in doing so!

Together we are Windsong STRONG!
